Mr. Etim Uso is a software developer with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria. He also holds a Cetrificate in Entrepreneurial Management from the Enterprise Development Centre of Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos. Over the past Mr. Uso has been designing, building and implementing general and bespoke accounting and business software solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), as well as large organisations. He has attended several accounting courses both locally and overseas on financial accounting and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). In 2012, he was a guest columnist for Nigeria’s Businessday Newspaper, where he wrote weekly on IFRS and IPSAS (International Public Sector Accounting Standards). He was also a contributor to The Nigeria Leadership Initiative’s (NLI) White Papers Vol. 2 on Nigeria’s Tax System.
Etim is also a teacher, a system analyst and a writer. He has written a number of books on relationships and accounting. Most of his books on accounting are based on his practical system implementation experience and interractions with users of accounting system. Some of his titles include:
